Sharebox was founded in 2016 by Arne Eivind Andersen after uncovering just how much time and effort it takes to check-in and pick-up a key for an apartment he rented on Airbnb in New York.
Today, Sharebox is one of Norway’s most promising sharing economy startups, as well as the Norway’s highest-crowdfunded platform, $1,3 million, for property management, car rental and car service sector with integrated bank payment and insurance approved machines.
The company has their own front- and back-end technology, designed with features off an app that makes it possible to open/close lockers/doors/gates and simplifies all aspects of managing short-term rentals, check-ins and payment across the vacation rental community, car industry and more — such as the newly developed 24/7 Service Station for the automotive aftermarket. The solution digitize the customer experience and payment after service and repairs in one app, including a software tool that syncs communication across all PMS and ERP channels.
Sharebox provides seamless access management for a variety of applications from sharing economy services such as short-term rentals of housing, cars etc., to enterprise level solutions for car rental, car workshops, property management, small hotels, facilities and logistics companies.
